Starlight Shed

3 hrs excursion by car and snowmobile sledge
Daily departure 21:00 on request for min 4 persons, max 8 persons

Your private spot under the northern sky

You are transferred by a sledge pulled by a snowmobile to a secret location in the forest. As you leave the resort’s artificial lights behind, you start to see the shapes of the snowy trees against the dark sky. There, at the top of a slope, the Starlight Shed awaits you. The shed has a partly glass roof and one panorama wall. A red carpet leads you to the shed, you are asked to step in without your shoes and can lounge comfortably in the warm shed under the northern lights sipping on a glass of sparkling beverage.

Outside you can sit by a camp fire and listen to stories of the northern lights and Lappish nature. Your guide is preparing a small snack for you, just a taster of Lapland, something savory and something sweet.

One thing which you for sure can enjoy here is the silence, the total stillness of a winter time nocturnal forest. Leave all your thoughts and everyday worries behind and relax for a while, breathing the freshest air on earth. After your visit your guide takes you back to the resort in a snowmobile pulled sledge. Transfer by car to your accommodation.

The Starlight Shed is available on request for max 8 persons.

What we say about this tour:

“It is said that special things happen under the Northern Lights and we do agree. Starlight Shed is a special little nook under the northern sky, for your special moment under the Aurora Borealis. Our experienced guide takes you there in a sledge pulled by a snowmobile and the last few meters, a red carpet leads you the last meters to the door of Starlight Shed. Then you can just chill and lay down on the cushions and look up...”
